Turmeric Roti | Healthy Breakfast or Lunch or Dinner Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 green chilli (chopped)
2 tsp ginger & garlic (minced)
1 cup spring onion
3/4 water
Method:
Add flour, salt, cumin, turmeric, chilli, ginger and garlic, mix well.
Add water little by little and combine well with the spoon or fork.
Knead the dough gently make a soft dough.
Cover dough and set aside for 15 minutes.
Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and roll each part into a round shape until the roti is about 2 mm thick.
Heat a non-stick skillet and place the roti in the skillet.
Drizzle some oil on both sides and cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until it's done.
There should be some brown spots on each side.
Serve with curry, pickle or yoghurt.
Enjoy with your favourite curry, yoghurt or pickle.
Note: Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat before serving.
